About the ILWM Residential ProgramILWM’s residential program is something new and innovative in the weight loss world. Although it incorporates the time-tested methods of ILWM’s other weight loss programs, we have learned from the mistakes of the other residential programs. ILWM has studied other programs, and has taken what has worked, discarded what does not, and added what they have learned from ILWM’s award-winning long-term outpatient programs. The ILWM residential program differs from all other residential programs available today. It is a holistic, personal, and comprehensive program that emphasizes practice as much as theory. At ILWM, your home for weight loss, we strongly believe and affirm that “Life doesn’t happen in a classroom, it happens in your daily walk.” Your weight management solution should do the same. Residential Programs are Successful. Residential Programs Make Sense. The Institute of Lifestyle and Weight Management’s Residential Program offers all of the support and expertise that other programs offer and more. Traditional residential weight management centers have been very successful, but they have run their course. Those who have a stake in the status quo are never the ones to embrace innovation. The Institute of Lifestyle and Weight Management’s Residential Program is similar to many of the other successful programs, consisting of all the elements of other residential centers, specializing in understanding and teaching the psychology, behavior, nutrition, and fitness aspects of successful weight loss and related lifestyle change.
